Water Baptism Ceremony

Water Baptism Ceremony

Jesus Christ, our Lord got baptized! Why?

Jesus spoke and also showed us how to live a purposeful life doing the will of the Father. Baptism serves 2 key purposes:

Obedience: When we get baptized like our Lord did, we are submitting to his commands. It is also an act of faith on our part.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Confession: Water baptism is you publicly confessing your faith in the Jesus Christ and showing your commitment. It symbolizes Christ’s burial and resurrection. Our entrance into the water during baptism identifies us with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection from the dead. It is a crucial step after salvation and both acts are a crucial foundation to the Christian life.

“Going under the water was a burial of your old life; coming up out of it was a resurrection, God raising you from the dead as he did Christ. When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive—right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ’s cross.” Colossians 2:12-14 MSG

We are excited to announce that the next Baptism Ceremony is on March 24!

40 Hours of Non-Stop Worship and Prayer
Nov

to Nov 4

40 Hours of Non-Stop Worship and Prayer

Revelation 4: 8b "Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’[b] who was, and is, and is to come.”

Busy? Tired? Stressed out? We live in a hectic world and we tend to find ourselves juggling schedules and trying to deal with the challenges of life the best way we can. The answer to it all is turning to God in Worship and Prayer. As we turn our full attention on Him in reverence, He promises to manifest His Presence, and fill us till we overflow.

Let’s gather as the body of Christ for 40 hours of non-stop, unhurried, uninterrupted and unhindered time with the Lord,.

WHAT & WHY?

We are going to have continual worship and prayer for 40 hours on our campus. This is going to be a sacred time to gather as the body of Christ, to continually pray and worship in the Presence of the Lord. A time to turn our full attention on Him in reverence and we are expectant that as He promised, He will manifest His presence and fill us till we overflow. We desire to have that overflow spread into our homes, jobs, schools, communities and the Nation on a daily basis. It is our prayer that this event will jump start a culture of continual worship and prayer in our lives.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?

We are expecting a powerful move of God, as He manifests His Presence through music and the exercise of the charismata or spiritual gifts, specifically the vocal ones; prophecy, tongues and interpretation.

// Be expectant! Start praying now so that you are able to  hear from The Lord.

// Fasting is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended. Please consult your Physician if you are taking medication.

// Bring your journal or a notebook and a pen to write down any word you may receive

// Bring bottled water

// Bring a shawl or a light blanket to keep you warm

*Please note that you do not have to stay for the entire duration of the 40 hours. Click the link below for more details.
